NCSSM Wrestling Drops Two in Strong Opening Matches

Roanoke Rapids, N.C. - NCSSM had a good showing in their first duals of the season Friday night dropping two close matches to Roanoke Rapids and Bunn.  In the first dual the UNis were down 28-33 going into the final bout with a chance to pull out the victory with a fall but we came up a little short with the final score Roanoke Rapids 39 NCSSM 28.  Henry Seiler, Josh Babich, and Billy Gottenstrater all secured pins as part of a 28-0 run by NCSSM late in the match.  In our second dual against Bunn it again came down to the final match with Aaron Kovasckitz battling valiantly up a weight class to give us a shot with final team score ending 43-36 Bunn.  Again the middle of the NCSSM lineup proved strong with Nick McNamara, Henry Seiler, Morgan Howell, Billy Gottenstrater and Jeshua Ray all securing pins for the UNIs.
