Men's Tennis Takes State Championship

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Men's Tennis team captured their second state championship, first 2A, with a 5-4 win Saturday over Brevard.  The teams split singles to run the match score to 3-3 headed into doubles.  NCSSM took a victory at #3 doubles while Brevard won at #2 forcing the #1 doubles team to decide the State Championship.  All eyes were then on Depei Yu and Daniel Lee at #1 doubles, who were down 7-6 and stormed back to win four straight games and secure the championship for the Unicorns.
