Athletic Awards Ceremony and Spring Awards Recap
Durham, N.C. - The spring seasons wrapped up for the NCSSM Varsity Sports teams with a 2A State Championship in Men's Tennis. The spring season was also highlighted by conference titles by the Men's Tennis and Women's Soccer teams. Baseball, women's soccer, men's tennis, men's golf, men's track and field and women's track and field all participated in the state playoffs.
An athletics awards ceremony was held on May 16 in the PEC Gymnasium. The student athletes for all seasons were honored with all conference members receiving special recognition. Rachel Ruderman and Lawton Ives received the Athletic Director's Award. Below are the award winners from the spring sports as well as the fall and winter. An archive of the ceremony is located below.
